Nicole Surudo

After discovering stained glass in 2024, Nicole was immediately hooked. Two workshops later, she had everything she needed to set up a home studio and begin exploring the craft on her own.

She loves the patience and attention to detail that stained glass requires — and especially that magical moment when you hold a finished piece up to the light for the first time. Nicole is still learning new techniques and developing her own style, but she’s loved being part of the encouraging, welcoming community at Wink.

When teaching, Nicole encourages students to embrace imperfection, have fun, and give themselves permission to make mistakes. Stained glass isn’t easy, and developing your skills takes time — her classes are all about enjoying the process, experimenting, and celebrating what you create along the way.

When she’s not working with glass, you’ll usually find Nicole reading, birding, doing puzzles, or enjoying a walk in nature.
