Part-Time Social Media & Promotions Assistant

~15 hours/month | Hourly

We’re a stained glass retail store and creative studio looking for a part-time Social Media & Promotions Assistant to help keep our online presence active and engaging.

You’ll be responsible for posting content (photos and videos provided) primarily on Instagram, with some cross-posting to other platforms when appropriate. This role focuses on consistency, thoughtful captions, and promoting what’s happening in the shop — classes, supplies, artwork, studio rentals, and events.

What you’ll do:

Post regularly on Instagram (feed, stories, occasional reels)
Cross-post to other platforms (e.g. Facebook)
Write engaging, on-brand captions
Schedule posts and maintain consistency
Promote classes, products, events, and community activity
Monitor comments and messages and flag anything that needs a response

What we’re looking for:

Comfortable using Instagram for business
Organized, reliable, and self-directed
Strong writing skills
Interest in art, craft, or creative communities is a big plus

Content creation (photos/videos) is provided — this role is about posting, engagement, and promotion.

Part-Time Shipping & Inventory Assistant

We’re getting ready to launch shipping for our online store and are looking for a part-time Shipping & Inventory Assistant to help with packing orders and keeping things organized behind the scenes.

This is a hands-on, on-site role focused on packing orders carefully (including fragile glass items), helping with inventory, and supporting the day-to-day logistics of shipping.

Key tasks include:

Packing and preparing online orders for shipment
Handling and packing fragile items with care
Helping organize and maintain inventory
Assisting with basic shipping logistics and supplies

This role is a great fit if you are:

Detail-oriented and organized
Reliable and comfortable with hands-on work
Interested in art, craft, or small business environments
Shipping or inventory experience is a plus, but not required — training provided
