Carly Weir

With her background in quilting, stained glass was a natural progression for Carly - she loves how versatile the medium is and how much faster it is to complete compared to quilting!

 

Carly loves getting inspiration from watercolour paintings, and would describe most of her work as “painterly”. She is always experimenting, so her style is ever evolving as she explores glass painting and screen printing.

 

Carly has so many project ideas in her head that she thinks she will need a few lives to finish them all. Her dream project would be to master glass painting and use integrated light to create a sculptural piece.
